You can replace a specific ASCII character in a TXT or CSV file with another ASCII character of your choosing. Any occurrences of the character you're replacing that are within quotation marks will not be affected.
Select the option "[75] (*.CSV *.TXT) Replace character, ignore within quotation marks" from the list of available special processes. Available File Formats are CSV or text.
From 'Select Input File(s)/Folders To Process' browse for or type in the path to the file or folder you wish to process.
Place the output file information into 'Select Output File(s)' by browsing for or typing in the name and location the file will be saved at. The format must be either TXT or CSV.
Select the ASCII character you want to replace from the dropdown list entitled Character To Replace, and then select the replacement character from the dropdown list entitled Replacement Character.
Optional: Click the Add (ALT+A) button to add the task to the conversion task list. If you don't plan on doing more than one conversion task, don't bother with this step.
Click the Convert (F5) button to start the process.
